The little table that could

It's Sunday afternoon and as my husband claims, I can't sit still very long.

 I decided to paint a little table that's been hanging around my house for almost 40 years and no telling how long before that, at the mother-in-law's house.

Poor thing has been everywhere and her age was showing. She was even the chew toy for a little dog we had. 

Here she is...

I had some left over homemade chalk paint I didn't want to go to waste, so that's what I used to give her a make over. 

First coat...

I wasn't sure this left over paint would work, due to how lumpy it was.  But several coats, some sanding and Mimwax, I think she turned really sweet!
